The performance of the Curaçao youth tennis experts on regional competitions remained unnoticed. The Confederation of Tenis Centroamérica y Caribe (COTECC) has again invited this year to the ITF tennis camp: Zahra Nissa, Aldair Marques and Enzo Maduro.

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) offers young talent through projects the opportunity to further develop in tennis. One of these projects is the tennis camp for tennis players aged 12 and under (U12).

In the past, Curaçao players were also invited to participate in the prestigious ITF tennis camp. Also this year, COTECC invited three local tennis players.

Together with players from Antigua, Trinidad & Tobago, Suriname and Barbados, trained coaches will train. The three coaches accompanying the tennis players are: Dale Boyce and Carlist Mohamed from Trinidad & Tobago and the Surinamer John Good ITF Development Officer for the Caribbean.

The tennis match started Thursday, August 10th, and lasts until Sunday, August 13, 2017. It is held at the National Tennis Center of Trinidad and Tobago in Tacariqua.
